As a global agency, leading the way in marketing and communications, we are currently looking to recruit a Web Designer – Developer. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, rapidly expanding marketing company, while working on site with a key flagship account.

This role would suit a web developer in a current digital marketing agency environment that has done Front-end development, CMS Authoring and/or UX Design.

 Outline of Role:

  • A front end web developer who will take the lead on implementing all aspects of digital marketing initiatives, across websites, digital channels and social media.
  • Provide consultancy, development and measurement of digital marketing solutions.
  • Maximise the impact of digital content by applying engaging branding and technical solutions and providing guidance on digital media.
  • Ability to deliver front-end development, as well as implementing digital assets in CMS – graphics, components, animations and digital interactions.
  • Responsible for initial web design consultation and UX wireframing.
  • We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in and is up to date with the latest web developments and technological advances within digital media.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work with CMS technology (Adobe AEM preferred) and experience in digital design/build, with standards compliant HTML and CSS coding with website accessibility.
  • Good working knowledge of digital advertising – on-line, in-app, mobile, microsites, social channels, applications and technical skills such as image editing, html and coding knowledge, understanding of infrastructure and content management.
  • Knowledge of full Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of the digital elements of multi-channel strategic and creative development (working on digital campaigns integrated with print, video and outdoor/experiential).
  • Full life cycle digital website project experience including requirements analysis, UX, design & build, testing and onward reporting.
  • Ability to liaise with technical experts (developers, hosting company).
  • Analytical and reporting proficiency, experience with Optimization tools (SiteImprove/SEMRush)
  • Digital performance optimisation (e.g. conversion rate optimisation, A/B and MVT).
  • Email marketing template design, production and distribution.
  • Attention to detail and digital standards. 

Technical Knowledge preferred:

  • Ideally Adobe AEM CMS system trained and accredited (Knowledge of CMS systems),
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery,
  • HTML Markup, CSS Styling,
  • Adobe Creative suite
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Working knowledge of UX tool(s) and methodologies
  • Demonstrate Knowledge and application of W3C web standards and accessibility.
  • Understanding of browser compatibility issues.
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies, including Agile development.
  • Understanding of usability techniques, experience of producing documentation and bug fixing methods.
  • Understanding of animation, illustration, transitions
  • Understanding of SEO.
